Brown fused aluminum oxide - BFA is produced by smelting of calcined bauxite at more than 2000°C in an electrical furnace, it is a tough, hard raw material with high strength, excellent wear and corrosion resistance and good thermal conductivity.

It is a tough, hard material, its hardness is 9Mohs, high strength, excellent wear and corrosion resistance and good thermal conductivity, it is widely used as a raw material in ceramics shapes, grinding wheels, sandpaper, blasting media, metal preparation, laminates, coatings, lapping, polishing and grinding.

It is widely used for general cool grinding and cutting of many kinds of tool steels, and for grinding sharping and deburring of hand tools, drills, chisels, blades, cutting tools, also for carbon steel, alloy steel, malleable castiron or hard bronze grinding & cutting. Used for cutting most metals (stainless steel and nonmetal materials), grinding and sharpening the cutting edges of tools and implements, internal and external of bearing, small cylinder, compressor parts, injection nozzle part, gear parts.
